A forty-five year-old executive reported with an
unaesthetic anterior three unit bridge.A replacement was
fabricated, paying attention to emergenge and color.
The key to success in this case was the
creation of an ovate pontic, which required
a small surgery with rotary instruments during
fabrication of the provisional restoration. The use of
a soft tissue cast (middle photo) allows the
technician to capture the proper emergence profile.
